#0502 is a smooth open band that parts at the front around an oval void, two rounded bars framing the opening like a window held open in the metal.

Nothing on the surface competes with the opening. Both rounded bars are softly polished and left clean, and light runs the length of each before gathering in the oval between them.

Architectural rather than ornamental: the empty oval carries as much of the design as the silver that frames it.
