#0517 is a bypass wrap whose flattened, hammered ends taper and overlap like a pair of blades passing each other at the front.

Worked entirely by hand, the hammered surfaces stay faceted and uneven, catching light along every flattened plane so the ring shifts character as it turns.

The bypass form gives a little, easing on and off, and the tapered ends grow softer and quietly deeper as the silver wears in.
