#0509 runs two wavy bars side by side as an open double band, joined by molten metal at the front where the two lines pull together.

Both the waves and the join are left as the metal moved. Light ripples down each bar and collects at the front, in the molten join where the two lines are drawn together.

The back stays open; the front is anchored. That balance lets the ring feel loose without feeling fragile, and the rippled surface mellows to the eye as it is worn.
