#0505 sets two curved bars crossing at the front into an angular open loop, like intersecting branches grown into a ring.

The bars are smooth but keep the slight unevenness of handwork. The brightest point sits right where they cross; on either side, light falls away into the open angles of the loop.

The crossing gives the ring its structure, and the open angles keep it light on the finger. Eventually the smooth bars take on a low, even sheen.
